Hi there, I’ve been with Shopify for a little over a year now and to tell you the honest truth I’m beginning to get frustrated with their (html) coding website building template thing! I feel like it’s kind of holding me back from becoming a successful online business! Basically all I want to do is to customizes my theme/store to accept paid membership and at the same time have a regular membership for other customers as well. I also wanted to have a boutique for customers and to add music to my store. is their any (html)codes or template/theme codes you can help me with for any of the features I want to add to my store, I would greatly appreciate it! Someone please help before I give up!:-(
At the end of the day, I think that if you are investing to grow your business, it’s worthwhile to consider it. Or, you can consider just using Square in combination with Shopify and see how that goes. Then when you are ready, test out the Shopify POS and see if it’s worth the investment for you. Or, you can jump right in and start using Shopify POS for a few months. In my mind (just my own opinion), investing a few hundred dollars to grow a business is well worth it. I understand that having a skinny budget is reality for most (I’ve been there!), but as most established businesses will advise, that investing in your business and in yourself is a must if you want to grow!

There is much more for me to learn on Shopify, and I am not looking at the best apps to use to help increase my business, such as abandoned cart recovery, reviews, etc. Anyhow, I have sold about $2500 in products on Shopify since February, and my Etsy store is going strong with many more sales. However, considering that I have to attract traffic to my Shopify site on my own, I am thrilled. Customer service and help at Shopify is excellent. They have lots of educational tools, plus their blog is a wealth of information for ecommerce stores.
Their pop hit, “Blurred Lines,” might have blurred a few copyright laws, at least according to the family of soul singer Marvin Gaye, who believed Thicke’s song was suspiciously similar to Gaye’s funk ode “Got to Give It Up.” A jury agreed, awarding Gaye’s family $7.3 million. A judge lowered the fine to $5.3 million but granted Gaye’s family 50% of all future royalties from the song.

Newly elected representative and social media lightning rod Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sparked a round of controversy this weekend when she compared the potential cost of Medicare for All to the cost of a supposed “massive accounting fraud” totaling $21 trillion at the Pentagon. Referring to an article The Nation last week, Ocasio-Cortez said that an alleged $21 trillion worth of improper financial transactions at the Pentagon would be enough to pay for two-thirds of the $32 trillion bill for Medicare for All - with the latter number derived from an analysis of Bernie Sanders’ health care plan by Charles Blahous of the libertarian Mercatus Center back in August.
Any ideas when the Shopify to Amazon(sell your products on Amazon) will be ready? Nothing from them and I have a client where they have that as a requirement. They were using the Amazon Webstore product that is shutting down in July. I see the Amazon has teamed up with Shopify to migrate the data, but that’s a 1 time deal and it doesn’t push any new product data up do Amazon.

2. Somewhere on the page it is explained that no credit card number is needed, but after I began to build a shop, I had to select a plan and enter the credit card number in order to have access to some functions. I did not like the fact that I have to close the shop before March 9th in order to avoid receiving the invoice for March. It should be on contrary, the shop should be closed in a case I do not decide to go on with the shop.

Business transactions that take place on the internet are called e-commerce, short for "electronic commerce." Popular examples of e-commerce generally involve buying and selling online, but the e-commerce universe contains other types of activities as well. Basically, any form of business transaction conducted electronically can be referred to as e-commerce. Those involved in the transactions can represent multiple combinations of customers, businesses, vendors or other suppliers, or government agencies.

Ecommerce will also likely evolve over the years creating a more virtual or augmented reality experience for shoppers. Stores may eventually include features to help customers ‘virtually’ try on clothing. This will ensure that clothes fit the customer’s shape while allowing them to see what it would look like on before buying. Shoppers may be able to ‘try’ on makeup using their laptop or phone’s camera.
The platform also provides an interface called Shopify Partners, where developers can play around with new websites without having to open up free trials every time. It's like a sandbox interface for those who have several clients and need to present website builds before landing jobs. You can install new themes, customize full websites and seamlessly transition from a Shopify Partners website to a launched site. Not only that, but you gain a commission for every client you bring on board with Shopify.

Their platform allows store owners to install apps ranging from Oberlo’s dropshipping app to Hurrify’s Countdown Timer app. Shopify’s platform is considered the best ecommerce platform with a 10/10 rating.
I am only going to start out with less than 5 colors of the same product. But it will be a personalized product. Will Shopify be able to set up that for me. For customers to upload a photograph? I want my online store to be a more social media content sharing their product that I am selling. Will the basic plan work for me? Or should I shoot for a customized plan?
At the center of everything we do is a strong commitment to independent research and sharing its profitable discoveries with investors. This dedication to giving investors a trading advantage led to the creation of our proven Zacks Rank stock-rating system. Since 1988 it has more than doubled the S&P 500 with an average gain of +25.32% per year. These returns cover a period from January 1, 1988 through November 5, 2018. Zacks Rank stock-rating system returns are computed monthly based on the beginning of the month and end of the month Zacks Rank stock prices plus any dividends received during that particular month. A simple, equally-weighted average return of all Zacks Rank stocks is calculated to determine the monthly return. The monthly returns are then compounded to arrive at the annual return. Only Zacks Rank stocks included in Zacks hypothetical portfolios at the beginning of each month are included in the return calculations. Zacks Ranks stocks can, and often do, change throughout the month. Certain Zacks Rank stocks for which no month-end price was available, pricing information was not collected, or for certain other reasons have been excluded from these return calculations.
An excellent solution both for ambitious beginners and professionals. Shopify offers you a platform that makes selling not only easy but also provides the tools to improve your sales. Definitely not the cheapest solution out there but thanks to their support and ecosystem, Shopify takes much of the headache out of running an online store. Try it for free.
I started off using Square when it first came out. But I wanted something more robust that would help me with ecommerce and POS as I grew my ecommerce platform. Shopify makes everything seamless and has a number of apps that help me do other things like marketing. It's not as inexpensive as Square for POS, but it also is way more powerful. The customer service has also been great. I hate calling for customer service, so I use their Chat feature and always get an answer to my questions or issues.

Fiverr – This is a “freelance services marketplace” that connects people (mostly entrepreneurs) with service providers who offer anything from graphic design and online marketing to translation and video development. As its name indicates, gig pricing on Fiverr starts at $5 USD, though depending on what you’re selling, that can go up to hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
Having an online storefront is one of the most straightforward ways to conduct ecommerce. The merchant creates a website and uses it to sell products and services using shopping carts and ecommerce solutions. The “right” solution will depend on the merchant and their products. Below is a list of some of the top ecommerce platforms. Check them out and see which one is right for you.
If you earn some or all of your income on YouTube or rely on the video platform to promote yourself or your business, three copyright strikes could mean the end of your career and financial destitution. Maybe your parents will be nice enough to let you move back into your old room or, if Mom’s not willing to give up her new macramé art studio, at least let you sleep on the couch in the basement. It’s probably best not to find out, though!
WooCommerce should be your preferred choice if you’re not afraid of terms like FTP, MySQL and plugin updates as you’ll have to install it on your own WordPress site. The main reason to choose it over Shopify, from our point of view, is if you need a multilingual website and you need a lot of flexibility. In this article, we’ve compared both Shopify and WooCommerce.
