On the other hand, the new Shopify Sections feature is sure to speed up your editing, since it's a rather simple drag and drop editor.
I have been fairly happy with Shopify. The price is reasonable. The support has been excellent (and my Canadian speaking skills continue to improve). My biggest problem has been trying to improve my SEO. Anything Shopify can do to help me with that would be much appreciated. The Kit app has been somewhat helpful, but I get lost in the setup on my end on some of the Kit options/suggestions. My geek skills are on the low end.

The only inconvenience is that you will need to install additional applications to your store where you will have to pay a monthly fee, so you can really integrate all the necessary capabilities to optimize your conversion rates and get the best experience to your customers, although some of them are free of charge. Customer service is fantastic as well. I really recommend it for small-medium businesses and any eCommerce entrepreneurs!

Regarding size, it depends on how many products you plan on stocking and selling. If you’re planning on selling more than 50 products then Shopify’s scalability would probably be better suited to the job. This is because Shopify is built so that you don’t have to re-platform again down the road even if the business continues to grow. It can cater to businesses that are making a few thousand dollars as well as businesses that are selling millions of dollars in products.

I have a Shopify store I purchased as a birthday gift to myself (3/29/2018). I wanted to sell moissanite diamonds. I found the perfect store, purchased it. Did all I thought I needed to do. I attempted to use the Shopify payments as it was easiest to use for the e-com store. I was denied and said that my e-commerce store was a risk as well. I recently tried to sell on the same platform and was denied because of this supposed risk they NEVER tell you of. DO NOT USE SHOPIFY. Luckily my storefront was only $300 and I only spent another 300 in attempting to get it up and running. My store is currently closed BUT was told it stays in the system for up to a year. So far it has been closed for 2 months.

I am interested in the abandoned checkout recovery option, but am not prepared to pay the $79 or $179 options. Now this question may sound dumb but is there any way I can transfer my domain from wix to shopify later because Im starting small scale and for now Wix seems to be the better option but I am definitely looking at setting up a more large scale website as the brand gets better for which I am thinking Ill probably have to switch to shopify or get my own website and hosting in place.
