Several of my friends and I ordered from the “TREND Harbor” website, which took payment through Shopify. We ordered items, they took our orders and payments through Shopify but never delivered our order’s, one friend ordered February 1,2017 and has not received her order, as well as others who ordered days apart, we thought we’d try to reach out to you since Trend Harbor will not return calls or answer emails, we have tried numerous times to no avail. We don’t know what else to do as it said payment was taken by Shopify with Stripe. If you could give us any info we’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you for any help you can suggest to us

Newly elected representative and social media lightning rod Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sparked a round of controversy this weekend when she compared the potential cost of Medicare for All to the cost of a supposed “massive accounting fraud” totaling $21 trillion at the Pentagon. There is much more for me to learn on Shopify, and I am not looking at the best apps to use to help increase my business, such as abandoned cart recovery, reviews, etc. Anyhow, I have sold about $2500 in products on Shopify since February, and my Etsy store is going strong with many more sales. However, considering that I have to attract traffic to my Shopify site on my own, I am thrilled. Customer service and help at Shopify is excellent. They have lots of educational tools, plus their blog is a wealth of information for ecommerce stores.

Hello, I’m wondering if Shopify offers increments of units and multiple choices of units? I’m currently running an online fabric store on another website builder and I’m unhappy with the fact that I have to offer things by the centimetre. I’d rather offer by the metre – the normal way to buy fabric – and increments of 0.1 metre. Does Shopify offer that option?

Thanks for writing the review. When signing on for the “lite” $9/month version, can you purchase a feature separately? I am interested in the abandoned checkout recovery option, but am not prepared to pay the $79 or $179 options. Beginners, intermediates and advanced users (the ones looking to speed up the development process by not spending much time on coding or more complicated processes). I also like it for generalist bloggers or content creators who would like to sell digital goods and should start the Lite plan. The Shopify Lite plan is ripe for converting a regular business site into an ecommerce one. It's also nice to see a homepage builder (Shopify Sections) that has draggable elements.

In regards to Shopify.. Back in January, we migrated over from a highly converting xhtml based hand coded site that had been serving us well for several years.. Our google serps were outstanding, we had top 5 placement for about 10 different keywords and were pulling tens of thousands of unique visitors per day. Due to google’s threats of Mobilegeddon, and their warning that sites which did not conform to mobile, (ie: responsive design) were going to be dropped from the search results sent us scrambling for a platform that would give us a responsive architecture without worrying about the hassles of coding a responsive design from scratch. I read every review I could find for all the available platforms.. actually went with a alternate only to ditch it half way through the setup process and switched over to Shopify. I was reluctant, worrying how this would affect not only our search rankings, but our conversion rate as well. Since making the move, we’ve had many challenges. I’m not a fan of theme based all inclusive CRM platforms to begin with, but with shopify, performing any sort of sustainable SEO at code level, seems all but impossible.

Upon joining Shopify, after entering your shop name, the system will ask you a few questions about the type of shop you are opening and then ask for some personal details. After that, you’ll be on the main dashboard page. Simply click on the “Add Domain” button here and then either buy a new domain from Shopify (which typically costs $14.99 for a .com domain), or follow the instructions to connect one you’ve already purchased from a different registrar.
But it really depends on what your current situation is. If you’re finding that the Wix tools are sufficient, then just leave it as is. But if you find that you are growing and need more sophisticated tools from Shopify, it’s worth while to consider migrating over to Shopify. It will be a bit of work to do the migration (pretty much rebuilding your site), but it might be worthwhile over the long term.
Transfers, Inventory, Collections and Gift Cards are seen as tabs in this area as well. I like the Inventory tab because it features all of the items in your store, all organized into a clean and manageable list. The product page also offers several options for things like SEO, shipping and the imagery that users are going to see when landing on this product page.
Whatever you're selling, getting your products in front of your customers is key. Set up this automation and Zapier can help new and old followers discover your merchandise easier than ever. It will watch your Shopify account for new products, and, whenever you add one, automatically pin it to a Pinterest board as well. That means less time spent managing your social accounts, and more on your customers.
Hi Jeremy, thanks for the great review! I’d like to ask your opinion on something please. For a simple eCommerce website for a small business I’m torn between whether to use Shopify or GoDaddy’s Quick Shopping Cart. I’ve played around in the trial feature Shopify offers and so far, it seems fine. However, it’s a bit expensive especially when starting out. GoDaddy’s Quick Shopping Cart (Deluxe Plan) is $14.99 whilst Shopify’s Basic Plan is $29 (and then there’s the 2% transaction charge on top of that), so GD is actually much cheaper (unless I’m missing something). But I’ve heard mixed things about both services from all the comments and reviews I’ve read.
